A fantastic Pilates program to help strengthen your core, improve balance and keep your back healthy. Brought to you by The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute, this routine was designed for beginners and those who suffer from low back pain. It is a safe tool for restoring efficient movement and improving posture. The workout begins by covering the key elements of Pilates, followed by a warm up, the 55-minute class, and finally a cool down. A section is also included that covers modifcations. Don't want to do the entire workout? No probolem. It's also broken down into four sections, so you can pick and choose on which area(s) you'd like to focus. Props used: Mat, cushions (if desired), chair or exercise ball. (Total run time: 1 hr, 30 min)
